Pb asked me to update everyone on the leadership class from Sunday night.
For those who did not make it you really missed out. We talked some of chapter 3 and 4 from our book, but that lead into an amazing discussion about what is going on in our church and what revival looks like. We talked some of what we personally want to see but mostly from the outside what does revival look like. It was a great discussion for those who missed it and there will probably be more since are church is moving in that direction.
But enough about how cool it was. The assignment tell the 22nd which is our next meeting is to read chapters 4 thru 5 and to work on writing our values.
Now values are different than morals. Values describe who you are as a person. Like reliable or encouraging something like that.
Also if you have a mission statement that God has given you to live by in this period of your life. It can be something He has told you or a verse He has given you to strive after in this time of your life.
Your mission statement can change as you change and so can your values.
The point of doing this exercise is so you know who you really are so that you find were you fit better as a leader and what some of the things are that God has given you. It makes you more aware of what God has for you and wants you to do instead of always questioning him when you has already showed you.
Also another thing that we talked about is how we need to keep track and tally of what God is doing in our lives. If it’s he’s shown us a fact about someone or shown us a verse to seeing someone get healed in a grocery store. When we start keeping track of what God is doing we can tell others and it only causes for a better foundation. So I challenge all of you at the end of the day think about what God has done that day and write it down so if not to share but for your own benefit and so you can always tell someone what God is doing in your life when it comes time to share you will be better equipped with that.
So that was the outline of the class.
